A Spirt Airlines jet landed safely at Palm Beach International Airport on Tuesday afternoon after the aircraft’s pilot reported in a burning smell in the cockpit.

Dec 27, 2016A Spirt Airlines jet landed safely at Palm Beach International Airport on Tuesday afternoon after the aircraft's pilot reported in a burning smell in the cockpit.
Emergency response crews were placed on alert as the aircraft landed shortly before 5:30 p.m.
It was not immediately clear where the flight originated from or how many passengers and crew were on board.
