Authorities in Spalding County have renewed a plea for information on a 57-year-old woman with Alzheimer’s disease who has been missing for nearly 11 months.

Gloria Brownlee was last seen on July 4, 2012, at her home on Wilti Road in eastern Spalding County, according to Spalding sheriff’s Capt. Tony Ranieri.

Brownlee was left alone in the house while her sister went to the store, and was gone when the sister returned 20 minutes later.

Despite numerous searches of the area by deputies and by private organizations, Brownlee remains missing.

Brownlee is African-American, 5 feet, 5 inches tall, weighs 170 pounds and has short, black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information is asked to call Spalding sheriff’s Sgt. Sheryl Brown at 770-467-4282, or 911.
