Ga. 400 southbound for 3.1 miles in Roswell will be closed Sunday morning for the eighth Hospitality Highway Century Ride.

The southbound lanes of the freeway will be closed from Exit 7 (Holcomb Bridge Road) to Exit 6 (Northridge) from 6:55 a.m. to about 7:20 a.m.

Also, Holcomb Bridge will be closed from 6:40 a.m. to about 7:20 a.m. as cyclists go from Market Boulevard to the Ga. 400 ramp. Reopening times are approximate as they depend on how quickly cyclists finish the route.

More than 1,000 bicyclists are expected to participate in the event, which supports local cycling charities a Junior Flyers, a youth cycling team that fights childhood obesity.
