South precinct opens Saturday in DeKalb
The DeKalb Police department will open its new south precinct Saturday after two years of work.
The county spent more than $700,00 to relocate operations from Candler Road to a former Toys R Us store at 2842 Shepherd Drive, near Decatur.
An open house will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday for residents to tour the new facility and meet command staff.
