Sweetwater Park in south Cobb now has a new dog park, playground, walking track, pavilion and an updated tennis center.
In Sweetwater Dog Park, 2447 Clay Road, Austell, there is a small dog area, a large dog area, watering stations and shade structures for pet owners.

The new state-of-the-art tennis center takes the place of the outdated building that was constructed decades ago. Now the tennis center is in the middle of the park to increase the visibility of the courts and the safety of patrons.
A new playground sits beside the tennis center complemented by a half-mile, lighted walking track.
In the coming months, a cushioned surface will be added to the track and picnic tables will be added to the new pavilion.
