South Cobb shooting leaves 1 dead, 3 injured

COBB COUNTY police investigators process a crime scene in Austell on Friday morning. One man was killed and three others were wounded in an early-morning shooting on Brass Trail.

THE VICTIM is said to be a male in his teens or 20s. The injured persons, all males, are being treated at area hospitals.

POLICE WERE called to the scene around 2:42 a.m. Friday by a neighbor after one of the victims knocked at the neighbor's door.

POLICE SAID a motive for the shooting was unclear but that investigators had been able to interview some of the wounded. Here, officers process the crime scene.
