South Cobb High's Blue Eagle Marching Band will march in Barack Obama's inaugural parade, and on Friday night the school held a ceremony before band members left for Washington. Here, drummer Devin Robinson, who has a neuromuscular disease, gets a hug. Robinson will ride in a donated soapbox derby car during Tuesday's parade.

The band provides a break from politics as it plays at the state capitol. The band will play two songs in the inaugural parade, "Georgia on My Mind" and Summon the Heroes."
