The Decatur Police Department said vehicles in the Oakhurst neighborhood had their windows broken early Wednesday. The culprit is believed to be someone with a BB gun.

A BB gun was found on the front passenger seat of a car whose window had been shattered on Mead Road.

In all, 10 vehicles were reportedly entered, with six of them having damaged windows.

Some of the damage was “consistent” with BB gunshot damage, police said.

The incidents were on Jefferson Place, Oakview Road, 2nd Avenue, 3rd Avenue and 4th Avenue.

Nothing was reported stolen.

Police didn’t reveal whether they have suspects.
