On Friday, Snow Mountain’s operators had to face a sad irony: the Stone Mountain Park attraction had to close as forecasters called for too much snow.

On Saturday, things had changed drastically, with most of the Atlanta area troubled by icy roads but having hardly any snow.

"Oh how the tables have turned," Snow Mountain bragged on Facebook after the story of its closing tore through social media Friday night. "We have the only snow in Atlanta!"

Snow Mountain is reopening Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

With untold numbers of Atlantans disappointed in the anticlimactic “snowstorm,” the park could be in for a busy day.
