The Snellville City Council voted recently to submit a 2017 Livable Centers Initiative plan update application. If approved by the Atlanta Regional Commission, the study will look at the impacts and interactions of the city’s Towne Center, the continuous flow intersection improvement plans at Highway 78 and Scenic Highway, and the Scenic Highway Corridor.

The application requests $150,000 from the Atlanta Regional Commission with a $40,000 match from the city. Snellville will access $40,000 from SPLOST funds for the match.
