The Snellville City Council voted recently to allow a moratorium on temporary signage to be lifted during the construction of the displaced left turn at State Route 124/Scenic Highway and U.S. 78. The moratorium ends at midnight Sept. 15, 2018.

A permit must be applied for and approved by the city’s Planning Department. Restrictions apply to type and size of temporary signge. Information: www.snellville.org.

Georgia Department of Transportation has condemned numerous parcels of land and been granted easements in the area surrounding the intersection which may force many businesses to remove previously approved monument and pylon signage.
