Snellville forms redevelopment agency

Snellville has established a redevelopment agency to promote revitalization citywide.

The City Council, by a 6-0 vote, approved the new board, which includes all members of the Downtown Development Authority plus players to be named later, Councilman Tod Warner said.

The redevelopment agency has many of the same funding powers of the DDA, with geographic boundaries beyond the DDA's downtown domain.
