Dave Emanuel announced Wednesday his plan to seek re-election to the Snellville City Council representing Post 1. Emanuel has held this position since 2011.

In his announcement, Emanuel stated, “I believe that government should be run with the efficiency of a business, and provide the same accountability to citizens that a corporation does to its shareholders. A vital part of that is reviewing all expenditures carefully, eliminating waste and ensuring that we stay within our budget. Over the past few years, these efforts have enabled us to improve service while not raising taxes.”

Emanuel plans to continue working with Snellville’s economic development department to attract new businesses, and to develop more projects like Give Hunger the Boot, as well as assisting existing efforts like the Veterans Memorial, CopCab, Citizens’ Police Academy and community events.
