Snellville residents will cast their votes for city leaders in a new location this fall. Beginning with the municipal election Nov. 7, voters will no longer cast their ballots at city hall. The new polling location will be the Snellville Senior Center, 2350 Oak Road.

Voters in this election will be choosing three city council members for posts 3, 4 and 5 currently held by Cristy Lensky, Bobby Howard, and Mayor Pro Tem Barbara Bender respectively. Candidates interested in running for one of these posts may qualify between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Aug. 21 through Aug. 23 in the office of the City Clerk at City Hall, 2342 Oak Road. The qualifying fee for fee for a council post is $120.
