Smyrna law enforcement liability claims over the last five years are resulting in a $13,707 increase in premiums over the 2015-16 renewal.

The total cost is $416,106. The Smyrna City Council agreed Monday to continue its property and casualty insurance with the same company. This policy with Georgia Local Government Risk Association will take effect May 1 to April 30 for Fiscal Year 2017.
