The Smyrna Police Department is looking to hire some new faces to join its rank of officers.
The agency is looking for “hardworking, morally straight and ethically sound individuals who have a want and desire to serve their community,” according to its Facebook post.
To help in this endeavor, Smyrna police will offer a $3,000 signing bonus to non-certified officers and a $5,000 bonus to certified cops making a lateral move and have at least two years of service with a department that has more than 20 sworn officers.
You’ll get an additional $1,000 bonus if you’ve served three years on active military duty.
