The Smyrna City Council voted 4-2-1 Monday to approve changes to a residential rezoning request from Pritchard Brothers, Inc.

The five single-family houses will be built on 1.27 acres at 1091, 1107 and 1121 Bank St. Additional conditions include minimum setbacks of five feet from the lot line and 10 feet between the houses.

Opposed were Councilman Wade Lnenicka and Councilwoman Susan Wilkinson with Councilwoman Melleny Pritchett absent. In favor were Councilwomen Andrea Blustein and Teri Anulewicz and Councilmen Charles Welch and Ron Fennel.
