Smyrna Mayor Max Bacon was sworn in to another four-year term Monday.

Bacon has been mayor since 1985 after serving six years as a city council member.

Joining him is the newly elected council for 2016-20: Derek Norton of Ward 1, Andrea Blustein of Ward 2, Teri Anulewicz of Ward 3, Charles “Corkey” Welch of Ward 4, Susan Wilkinson of Ward 5, Doug Stoner of Ward 6 and Ron Fennel of Ward 7.

Only Norton and Stoner are new to the council.

They all were sworn in Monday by Cobb Superior Court Judge Ann B. Harris.

Anulewicz was chosen mayor pro tem in a unanimous vote by the council.
