A 38-year-old motorcyclist died Sunday after colliding with another biker in Cobb County.

Anthony Tyrone Anderson of Smyrna was killed in the crash, which occurred about 3:45 p.m. on Flint Hill Road at Jones Road.

According to investigators, Ronald Tyrone Bagley of Powder Springs was northbound on a Honda CBR 900 while Anderson trailed behind on his Honda CBR 1000.

Bagley signaled a left turn onto Jones Road, and as he began the turn the motorcycles collided, police said.

The collision sent Anderson’s bike across Jones Road into utility poles, police said. Anderson was rushed to Wellstar Cobb Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The accident remains under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call police at (770) 499-3987.
