The Smyrna City Council agreed 6-0 June 4 to pay almost $200,000 on two contracts.

Tidwell Traffic Solutions of Atlanta, the lowest bidder, will receive $153,270 for pavement marking projects that will be funded by the 2016 Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax.

This bid from Tidwell Traffic Solutions was $11,730 under budget.

The only bidder, Rush Truck Center of Doraville, will be paid $45,095 for a landscape truck to replace a 2007 landscape truck.

Rush Truck Center’s bid was $24,905 under budget.
