Brookhaven residents are in for a treat as popular 90s bands Smash Mouth and Wallflowers are set to headline the city’s free fifth annual cherry blossom festival next month.
The city partnered with Live Nation for the festival, which will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. March 30 and 31 at Blackburn Park on 3493 Ashford Dunwoody Road.
“I know I’m excited about this line-up, and I encourage the community to come out and enjoy two great days of live music,” Brookhaven Mayor John Ernst said in a news release.
Smash Mouth, known for hits “All Star” and “I’m Believer,” will perform March 30 along with the Spin Doctors (“Two Princes”) and The Romantics (“What I Like About You”).
The Wallflowers will headline the March 31 date. Supporting acts for that day have not been announced.
The city has also partnered with Splash Festivals to hosts its arts and craft market and Kidz Zone. The Norcross-based event company also manages festivals in Alpharetta, Dunwoody and Johns Creek.
Attendees will also be treated to a classic car show and food trucks.
A more detailed schedule will be released at a later date.
