The city of Kennesaw will host its bi-annual, family-friendly event that allows its residents to camp out under the starts with friends and family members.

The city’s Backyard Campout will be held from 5 p.m. to 9 a.m. Saturday through Sunday at Swift-Cantrell Park at 3140 Old Highway 41 in Kennesaw.

The registration fee is $25 per camp site, and includes a hot dog dinner, supplies to make s’mores and a biscuit breakfast. There are a limited number of 10-foot by 10-foot camp sites available.

Saturday's event will include backyard games, field activities, discovery stations and entertainment around the campfire. If you're planning to attend, you must register in advance and bring your own tent. You can reserve your spot by clicking here.
