Cobb County police on Thursday released a composite drawing of a man suspected in last week's robbery and attempted sexual assault of a real estate agent.

On June 30, a man entered the business office of a newly developed subdivision off Cheyenne Drive in Smyrna and approached the real estate agent, Cobb police Sgt. Dana Pierce said.

"After a brief conversation, the male pulled out a handgun and robbed the victim of her personal items," Pierce said. "The perpetrator then forced the victim into the bathroom of the business office and attempted to sexually assault her."

After a struggle, the victim was able to escape out the back door of the office.

A sketch of the suspect drawn by GBI artist Marla Lawson was released by Cobb police Thursday morning.

Pierce said anyone with information on the case can call police at 770-499-3945.
