The Emory Police Department released a sketch Saturday night of the suspect wanted for the reported rape of a student.
The incident was reported to have occurred Tuesday around 11:15 p.m. on the university’s campus in a wooded area near Dowman Drive, police said.
The woman described her assailant to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, which produced the sketch. The suspect was described as a white man in his mid-to-late 50s who is about 5-foot-10. He had a reddish or brown beard and was wearing a brown knit cap, a tan or brown jacket, dark blue jeans and brown boots. He was last seen running toward the Emory Village, authorities said.
Emory police are investigating and have increased their visibility on campus.
