The Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners awarded a $290,444.25 construction contract Tuesday to Ohmshiv Construction for pedestrian improvements along Harbins Road between Lilburn and Norcross. The project includes new sidewalk, curb and gutter and drainage. The five-foot wide sidewalk will be constructed on the west side of Harbins Road from Singleton Road to Pirkle Road. The work is funded by the 2009 SPLOST program and is expected to be finished this year.
