Sidewalk project begins soon in Lilburn

Preliminary work for sidewalk construction is scheduled to begin March 5 along Hillcrest Road between Indian Trail and Burns roads in Lilburn. The contractor, Excellere Construction, will begin notifying residents and installing erosion control. In addition to sidewalks, the project will include milling on Hillcrest Road to bring the street in line with new curbing.

The project’s goal is to create a safer, more walkable road. The Community Development Block Grant is fully funding the project.
