Shuma Sports, a sports apparel and equipment company, is bringing their new operations to 490 Briscoe Boulevard, in Lawrenceville. The new facility will include 10,000 square feet of office space and 15,000 square feet of warehouse space.
"We chose to bring our operations to Gwinnett County because our family grew up in this area and we've seen firsthand just how supportive this community is," said Zach Shumate, managing partner for Shuma. "This expansion will allow us to bring further investment and new competencies to the local area, contributing to the economy here in Gwinnett."
Shuma Sports has plans to increase their sales force to continue serving Gwinnett and the metro Atlanta Region. The new facility will house 13 employees, including an internal graphics department, which allows the organization to service all requested custom design needs.
Shuma Sports, established in 2014, offers sporting goods, including a full line of team sports uniforms, practice gear and equipment, as well as school spirit wear and corporate apparel. They coordinate all decoration, including embroidery, screen print and heat press services from start to finish.
