The shooting victim, whose name was not released by police, was treated at a local hospital and released.
Officers were unable to locate the shooter and did not receive a description of the person, Rodriguez said.
Athens Arena is located west of Athens, just off Jennings Mill Parkway in Bogart.
Derez De’Shon has been associated with Waka Flocka Flame's Brick Squad Monopoly crew and worked with other rappers, including Slim Dunkin. He “writes highly introspective lyrics about relationships, hustling, and life struggles,” according to his bio.
