Two people were injured -- at least one by gunfire -- in an incident on Campbellton Road Friday afternoon.

The Atlanta Police Department is reporting that one person was shot in the leg. The perpetrator was in a gold Chevrolet Tahoe, Sgt. Curtis Davenport, a police department spokesman, told the AJC.

Both police and fire units responded to the scene, which was in the 1500 block of southwest Campbellton Road.

Though police would confirm only one shooting victim, Capt. Jolyon Bundrige, an Atlanta Fire Department spokesman, told the AJC that firefighters encountered two shooting victims, both of them males whose identities were undetermined.

"One of the guys was unresponsive," Bundrige said.

Both were taken to Grady Memorial Hospital.
