Sewer work continues along Martin Luther King Jr. Drive

An emergency sewer installation has resulted in temporary daytime lane closures on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive between Fairburn Road and Delmar Lane NW through Friday evening.

Crews are installing a new sewer line resulting in single lane closures in both directions. Traffic control measures will direct motorists around the construction zone. Motorists are urged to avoid the impacted area if possible. The lanes will be open to traffic in the evenings.
