Sewer work to continue along Martin Luther King Jr. Drive

Emergency sewer installation in the city of Atlanta will result in temporary daytime lane closures on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive between Fairburn Road and Delmar Lane NW during the hours of 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Friday.

Crews are installing a new sewer line resulting in single lane closures in both directions. Traffic control measures will direct motorists around the construction zone. Motorists are urged to avoid the impacted area if possible. The lanes will be open to traffic in the evenings.
