Some Buckhead residents may have to find a short cut home while a road is closed for sewer work.

Work on Pine Tree Road began early Monday and is expected to last the next two weeks, the Atlanta Watershed Department said.

The road will close between Atwood and East Wesley roads from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily, officials said.

Residents who park their vehicles on the street will need to find alternative parking.

Businesses and residents will still have access to mail and package delivery, emergency services and trash pick-u.

Motorists are urged to use caution and to avoid the area if possible.
