Seven Atlanta-Fulton libraries getting upgrades

Hogan Construction Group LLC will provide design/build services for the renovation of seven existing facilities within the Atlanta-Fulton Public Library system as part of phase two of the library capital improvement program. The agenda item was recently approved by the Fulton County board of commissioners.

The work will be done in the amount of the guaranteed maximum price of $12,635,524 at: Roswell Library; Sandy Springs Library; Dogwood Library; Kirkwood Library; Washington Park Library; West End Library; and Southwest Library.

This past July, commissioners voted to spend up to $55 million to renovate Atlanta’s Central Library. Voters gave the nod to a bond referendum in 2008 allowing Fulton County to access to up to $275 million for new library construction and renovations.
