A man accused of a series of sexual assaults over a two-month span was arrested by Clayton County police Thursday.

Aamirr Philpot, 23, of Jonesboro is charged with rape, false imprisonment and aggravated sodomy. He is in custody at the Clayton County Jail, authorities said Friday.

Philpot allegedly lured his victims using a social media website, then robbed and raped them at gunpoint, police said. He was apprehended after an extensive search.
