The Sequoyah Regional Library System, serving three counties north of Atlanta, announced the reopening of four branches with limited service hours and restrictions.

R.T. Jones Memorial Library in Canton, Pickens County Library in Jasper and Gilmer County Library in Ellijay are now open from noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. The Woodstock Public Library is open from noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday.

To ensure everyone’s safety during the COVID-19 outbreak, staff will wear masks, and visitors are encouraged to do likewise, the library said. Staff assistance will be limited, and employees will remain behind the service desk but be available to answer questions.

A limited number of socially distanced computers will be available. Seating may be socially distanced or unavailable. Sidewalk service will continue for those who would prefer not coming inside the library. Conference and community rooms remain closed. Information: https://bit.ly/3hDTQTl
