Atlanta senior literally took over City Hall Monday for an all-day party, full of songs, food, fun and most importantly, information gathering.

The hundreds of seniors were on hand as Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed kicked of Older Atlantans Month with the party and a senior fair.

At the event, Atlanta Fire Chief Kelvin Cochran unveiled Senior Link, a new initiative that will serve as a channel to identify seniors living in neglectful conditions and link them with the appropriate social service agencies that are able to meet their long-term needs.
