A free, hands-on technology workshop for senior citizens will be offered in Johns Creek, taught by students and representatives of AT&T, the city announced.

The event is scheduled for 10 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, March 9, at Park Place at Newtown School, 3125 Old Alabama Road.

With the assistance of students working with them one-on-one, seniors will learn the features of digital devices such as smart phones and tablets. Participants can bring their own devices or use those provided by AT&T.
