Driving on two of metro Atlanta’s main arteries will take some patience this weekend.

Road work will affect I-75 at several points throughout Cobb County and on I-285 in Fulton and DeKalb counties, according to the Georgia Department of Transportation.

Crews will be resurfacing roads.

Workers recently started the $34.8 million resurfacing project in Cobb that is supposed to result in 11 miles of fresh pavement.
