Section of Union Grove Road to close for construction

To facilitate the construction of a new sewer main for the Stonecrest-Lithonia area, a single lane of Union Grove Road, between Southern Grove Road and Margaret Court, will be closed intermittently to through traffic from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on May 24 and 25.

Signs will be placed in the area during the single-lane closure period advising motorists about construction work and local traffic restrictions. Flaggers will be present to direct motorists safely through the construction work zone.
