Section of Buford Highway closed this weekend in Suwanee
Northbound and southbound lanes of Buford Highway will be closed this weekend between Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road and Westbrook Road.
The closure will begin at 9 p.m. Friday. This closure is needed to allow crews to replace a section of pavement damaged by a water main break last month. The road is expected to re-open by 7 p.m. Saturday.
Contractors for the Gwinnett County Department of Water Resources will be conducting the repairs in coordination with the Georgia Department of Transportation.
