Second roundabout coming soon to Pharrs Road in Snellville

Gwinnett Commissioners recently approved a contract for the construction of a roundabout at Ridgedale Drive and Pharrs Road and a turn lane at the intersection of North Road and Ridgedale Drive in Snellville. This will be the second roundabout to be constructed along the busy Pharrs Road thoroughfare.

The lowest of 5 bidders, E.R. Snell Contractor, Inc., will complete the work for $1,415,190. The project includes sidewalks and ramps conforming to the Americans with Disabilities Act as well as drainage improvements.

This contract is funded 72.4 percent by the 2014 SPLOST program, 22.4 percent by the 2017 SPLOST, and 5.2 percent by Snellville.
