Police in Seattle have recovered several pieces of sports memorabilia that were stolen from a charity set up by Atlanta Falcons first round draftee Desmond Trufant’s family.

The recovered items, trading cards autographed by Trufant’s brother, Jacksonville Jaguar Marcus Trufant, were among other sports collectibles taken in a series of recent moving van heists, Seattle television station KIRO reported.

Police were tipped to a barn in Renton, Wash., by a citizen who went to buy computer equipment and recognized some of the stolen items from recent news reports, according to KIRO.

Other items stolen from the Trufant Family Foundation are still missing.

“We had autographed footballs, lots of them, and autographed helmets from the Seahawks, the Jaguars, the Falcons and the Jets,” said Constance Trufant, mother of the players and chairperson of the foundation. “They’re all gone.”

Desmond Trufant, who played college football at the University of Washington, was drafted 22nd by the Falcons in this year’s draft.

His brother, Marcus, signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars earlier this month after playing several years with the Seattle Seahawks. Another brother, Isaiah, plays for the New York Jets.
