The search for two missing Florida teens has expanded to the Georgia coast.
The Associated Press reported Tuesda that the search area for 14-year-olds Perry Cohen and Austin Stephanos — who have been missing since Friday after taking a fishing boat out near Jupiter, Fla. — had expanded as far south as Cape Canaveral and as far north as Savannah.
A Coast Guard spokesman told the AP that he was still hopeful the boys would be found alive.
“We know it can happen and we’re hoping it happens again,” Chief Petty Officer Ryan Doss said.
