Officials have found the body of a boater who went missing at a state park, authorities said Wednesday.

Department of Natural Resources officials had been searching for Alberto Palacios, 24, of Douglasville. He fell into the lake at Sweetwater Creek State Park near Lithia Springs on Monday. Palacios and another man were on a non-motorized paddleboat when the incident occurred.
