The application period for requesting a student transfer from one Fayette County public school to another is now open. Requests are subject to space availability after students in the assigned district are placed. For special needs students, transfers depend on the availability of programs related to the student’s IEP status. Placements will be assigned by lottery if requests for any given school exceed space. Forms are at www.fcboe.org or at the LaFayette Educational Center in Fayetteville, and must be submitted by July 9.
