Students and teachers at Closer Look Christian Academy in McDonough are moving ahead with the school year in an alternate location after a fire last month destroyed the building that has housed the school. A number of churches, corporations and other benefactors have stepped to provide equipment and offer assistance, according to the school’s chancellor, Mystique VanO’Linda.

The school is currently meeting on the campus of Tabernacle of Praise Church International, which has donated space for the remainder of the school year. VanO’Linda said school officials are considering their options for relocating permanently this fall.
