School meeting in DeKalb to focus on cell towers on campus

An open meeting Tuesday [tonight] at Martin Luther King Jr. High School in Lithonia will bring members of the school board and parents together to talk about the upcoming SPLOST IV vote and the placement of cell phone towers on school property.

District 5 School Board member Jay Cunningham is scheduled to attend the meeting to discuss a cell tower approval for MLK High School, as well as the SPLOST IV project list and the status of SPLOST III projects.

The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. at the school, located at 3991 Snapfinger Road, Lithonia.
