Seven high school students suffered minor injuries Friday morning when a bus headed to Langston Hughes High School in Fairburn was involved in an accident, Fulton County school officials said.

The accident happened about 8 a.m. near Ga. 92 and South Fulton Parkway. The bus was carrying 29 students.

"As I understand it, a car pulled out in front of the bus," school system spokeswoman Susan Hale said.

"Seven of the students complained of neck or back pain, bumps and bruises, things like that. As a normal precaution, we transported them to area hospitals to be checked out."
