Gwinnett County fire investigators are trying to determine whether an arson fire Tuesday at a portable classroom trailer at Britt Elementary School in Snellville is related to other acts of vandalism involving classroom trailers.

Someone broke into several other portable classrooms at the same school this spring by shattering a window. However, there was no other major vandalism or loss of property associated with those burglaries, said Sloan Roach, spokeswoman for Gwinnett County Public Schools.

On Tuesday morning, someone forced entry to a trailer at Britt Elementary and intentionally started a fire. The trailer was not in use at the time, and no one was injured.
