SCAD, Tech honored for gaming programs

The Savannah College of Art and Design and Georgia Tech are among the best colleges to study video game design, according to a survey released by The Princeton Review and GamePro Media.

SCAD ranked No. 8 for graduate programs in the subject and Tech received an honorable mention in the same category. Both campuses received honorable mentions in the undergraduate program category.

The University of South California earned the top spot on both lists.

Video game design and development is a fast-growing field and about a dozen Georgia college offer classes in the different aspects of the industry.
